Congestion issues across the Tier 1 carrier networks have now been resolved and are being closely monitored.
Tier 1 carriers are continuing to work to mitigate the unprecedented call volumes that are transiting between their networks. Additional capacity has been provisioned coming from the Optus and Vodafone carrier networks overnight.
AAPT Management are working to fast track the capacity required.
Telstra have yet to address the capacity issues but works are in progress to improve call distribution to mitigate the issues that are currently being experienced.
We will continue to provide updates as additional capacity is added.
We're aware of an intermittent issue affecting inbound calling services to a range of telecommunications providers across Australia. There is currently congestion between carriers on the Tier 1 telecommunications backbone network in Australia.
The tier 1 carriers are working to resolve the congestion through capacity upgrades however we expect intermittent inbound calling issues to continue for up to 48 hours.
